There are a few ways that prescriptions can be received at Brown’s Pharmacy. The most common method is when the doctor send an electronic prescription to us. You just have to be sure to tell the doctor or his staff that you want him to send your prescriptions to Brown’s Pharmacy in Irving, Texas. The doctor may also hand you a written, or computer printed paper prescription. These are also very normal. Once he gives you the prescription, just bring the prescription to us in person, and we will take care of the rest immediately while you browse through out pharmacy.
This is also very easy! Just give us a call, or come see us in person, and one of our wonderful team members will be happy to take your information. One of our Pharmacists will call “that other pharmacy”, and get all of your medications transferred to Brown’s on your behalf. No hassle for you…we take care of everything!
This is a total MYTH! Prescription copays are 100% dependent on your specific insurance plan, NOT the pharmacy. If we are a preferred network pharmacy for your insurance plan, then your copays would be the same as it would be at any other pharmacy. Many times, we are actually CHEAPER than those big chain pharmacies.
We carry all normal medications, just like any other pharmacy. We also carry many hard to find medications, that other pharmacies either DON’T carry, or WON”T carry. We always work with our patients the best that we can by carrying specific medications that they need. We are here to help you, and will always do our best to work with you and find the best solution for your request.
Brown’s Pharmacy is conveniently located at the corner of HWY 183 and North MacArthur Blvd on the Baylor, Scot and White-Irving Texas Hospital Campus. We are located on the first floor of Medical Office Building #2, in Suite 120. We are just inside either of the entrances to the building, whether you decide to use the front revolving door, or the covered valet entrance.
YES! We offer daily delivery services for any and all of your medication, over the counter, or medical equipment needs. Our delivery services are currently available for any address in Irving/Las Colinas Texas. Our excellent delivery drivers deliver every afternoon. If you are not planning on being home, we will be more than happy to leave your package at your residence with your permission, and sign your medication acceptance receipt on your behalf. There is no minimum order amount for your delivery, however there is a flat $5.00 delivery fee for convenience. Tips for the drivers are always appreciated, but NEVER expected!
